Collecting Avios
Collect Avios every time you fly with Aer Lingus and our AerClub partners. Just remember to include your AerClub membership number on all bookings to ensure you receive your Avios. You can also collect Avios with our range of retail, travel and leisure partners.
On Aer Lingus flights:
Avios are awarded based on what you paid for the Aer Lingus flight, excluding government
taxes and any ancillaries like bags or seats. AerClub members can get 3 Avios for every €1
spent on flights booked with Aer Lingus.
Any other currencies will be rewarded based on the euro value (€1 = 3 Avios). The
portion eligible for reward will be rounded to the nearest €/£/$/CAD.
If you have achieved Silver, Platinum or Concierge tier membership you will receive extra
Avios every time you fly on an Aer Lingus flight, meaning your Avios balance will grow even faster. Check

On partner airlines' flights:
Avios are awarded based on the distance flown and fare class. The percentage of the mileage
that's applied differs per fare class on each partner airline. These are outlined here:

For customers traveling on British Airways-operated flights or British Airways-marketed flights, operated by Aer Lingus, points will be awarded based on the partner airline rules per the chart below. A marketed flight is the two letter code in the flight number - for example, BA4234

For flights with multiple airlines, Avios are awarded based on a combination of what you
paid (on the Aer Lingus portion of the flight) and the distance flown and fare class (on the partner
airline).
Please allow some time for your account to be credited for Aer Lingus flights and flights
taken with our partner airlines*.
You book a flight with Aer Lingus, and its operated by Aer Lingus:
- Your flight is from Dublin to New York
- Avios are awarded based on what you paid for the flight, excluding government taxes and any ancillaries
- Example ticket cost is €500
- Avios awarded: €500 * 3 Avios = 1,500 Avios
You book a flight with Aer Lingus, and its operated by our partner airline British Airways:
- Your flight is from Dublin to Capetown
- Avios are awarded based on the distance flown and fare class
- Estimated mileage from Dublin to Capetown is 6209, and the fare class is Business (250%)
- Avios awarded: 6209 * 250% = 15,522 Avios
You book a flight with Aer Lingus, and its operated by both Aer Lingus and our partner airline:
- Your flight is from Dublin to Miami
- Your first flight is operated by Aer Lingus from Dublin to New York, and your second flight is operated by United Airlines from New York to Miami
- Avios are awarded based on a combination of what you paid (on the Aer Lingus portion of the flight) and the distance flown and fare class (on the United Airlines portion of the flight)
- Avios are awarded as follows:
- Example ticket cost from Dublin to New York is €500
- Avios awarded: €500 * 3 Avios = 1500 Avios
- Estimated mileage from New York to Miami is 1093, and the fare class is economy (75%)
- Avios awarded: 1093 * 75% = 819 Avios
- Total Avios awarded: 1,500 + 819 = 2,319 Avios
You book a flight with our partner airline, and its operated by Aer Lingus:
- Your flight is from Dublin to Paris, booked with British Airways and operated by Aer Lingus
- Avios are awarded based on the distance flown and fare class
- Estimated mileage from Dublin to Paris is 488, and the fare class is economy (100%)
- Avios awarded: 488 * 100% = 488 Avios

If you are an eligible Chase cardmember, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to your AerClub account at full 1 to 1 value - that means 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points equal 1,000 Avios. - Review and confirm your point transfer request
