When does check in on the app open?
You can check in on the app within 48 hours of your scheduled departure time on all routes within Europe
(except Faro, Bourgas, Izmir and Donegal airports where they do not currently accept mobile boarding passes).
Important: Passport cards and National Identity cards are not accepted for online check in.
When does check in on the app close?
App check in closing times vary depending on where you are departing from:

When does check in on the app open?
You can check in on the app within 24 hours of your scheduled departure time on all routes to and from North America.
Important: Passport cards and National Identity cards are not accepted for online check in.
When does check in on the app close?
Check in on the app closes 95 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Please note that check in on the app for flights departing from Barbados closes 6 hours before departure.
Getting your boarding pass on the Aer Lingus app is really straightforward. When you’ve completed check in on the app, your mobile boarding pass will automatically display. You can find it at any stage in the "Boarding Passes" section.
If you’ve any difficulty accessing your boarding pass, you can go to web check in online and print it from there.
If you’re already at the airport and you can’t access your boarding pass, you’ll need to go to a check-in desk and obtain a paper boarding pass.
Once you’ve got the boarding pass on your mobile screen, you’re good to go! No paper required, our boarding staff will simply scan your phone.
