Before your flight
Make sure you're well enough to travel. If you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, or if you have been in close contact with a confirmed or suspect case (including family members) we would ask you not to travel to the airport. When checking in you will be required to make a self-declaration to confirm that you do not have these symptoms.
Review the country-specific travel requirements and restrictions for the latest information before you fly.
We recommend that you download VeriFLY if required, a trusted travel pass app that allows you to upload your travel documents and have them checked and verified before you fly.
Ensure your passport is in date and valid for travel.
If your Covid-19 travel documentation shows a different surname to your passport, we recommend that you carry additional documentation with you, such as a marriage certificate, to prove your identity. Please also check the relevant government website for the country you are travelling to for the applicable rules.
Check in online and download a printed or mobile boarding pass.
Face masks are mandatory on some flights. Don't forget to bring a sufficient supply of masks for your outbound and return journeys, if required.

Plan to arrive early at the airport to allow extra time for security and boarding.
When you arrive at the airport
Arrive 2 hours before a short haul flight and 3 hours before a long haul flight.
Use self-service kiosks to check in your bags.
At the boarding gate
You'll board in small groups by seat row number. Allow extra time for boarding.
Have your boarding card ready to scan yourself and show your passport or ID to the boarding staff.
On board your flight
Browse the Bia menu online for in-flight food and drink purchases on board. Please note there are no printed menus on board.
Bring your debit or credit cards as we've moved exclusively to contactless payments for in-flight shopping.
Continue to wear your face mask throughout your flight, if required and replace it after being worn for four hours.
On arrival
Remain in your seat and follow the procedures for disembarkation.
Collect your bags and leave the terminal building as soon as possible.
Continue to wear your face mask until you leave your destination airport, if required.
